We suggest the Energy Strategy on this chart. This starts with Enervitene Gel, which will increase you level of energy and help to maintain high glycogen levels in the needed muscles.
The Branch Chain Amino Acids (BCAA) in the Enervitene Gel pass directly to the brain without the delay of passing through the liver. This provides more direct fuel on a psychological and physioogical level, making the effort less fatiguing in the muscles and in the mind. Enervitene Gel should be taken 20 minutes before the start of the event. The contents of one sachet will provide benefits for the one hour of effort.
Roughly half way through (20-30 minutes) the event we recommend 30-60 ml of Enervitene Liquid. This will provide an immediate rush of energy and eliminate the rapid "fall off" associated with more simple combinations of sugars. As you can see in the chart, the energy level goes in to turbo after taking the Liquid.
Within one hour of completion, take one sachet of R2 for quick & effective replacement of lost essentials (energy, salts and vitamins). Further the BCAA in R2 helps minmise muscle fatigue and enhances muscle efficiency. Finally R2 helps eliminate the sensation of being hungry so you do not munch down many counter-productive snacks.
